It always been said that our soul lies in the Cibao Valley of the Dominican Republic, and it is precisely from our heartland that we have taken bits and pieces of our heritage to offer them to our visitors on sugar cane trays trimmed with Cayena flowers, overflowing with the charisma that is part of our identity.
Bits of country joy, smiles of simple people, barefoot dancing, expressions learned from our forefathers, bearing an undeniable truth, then and now, burning wood, tin cups, native drums, sling-shots and home made kites, ginger, cinnamon and FOOD with the flavor of "CONUCO", a small piece of land toiled by the hands of our men and women.
EL CONUCO, a piece of our heartland in Gazcue, was sown on April 5th, 1991, and today is being fertilized by the presence of many proud Dominicans, hungry for their roots, and by many visitors, anxious to know and taste all we have to offer.
We invite you to enjoy an authentic projection of our culture, and we remind you, that every new harvest brings new HOPE, and every drop of rain that falls on the soil, makes a new seed grow that later on becomes fruit.
